Author Collaboration
Welcome authors to the FMC Author Candle Program! This program is dear to me and my bookish heart. I love working with authors to help bring their characters, worlds, and stories to life in a tangible way. Scent plays such an intrinsic role in storytelling and helps us feel truly immersed in the wonderful worlds you’ve crafted through word.
If you’re interested in working with me to bring your vision to life, please follow the process below! You can reach out to me either via Instagram DMs full_mooncreations or email me at fullmooncreations2@gmail.com. I want to be sure to capture your vision correctly, and the below questions are the best way for me to get the full idea of what you are aiming to accomplish, so please include your answers in your initial message. Please also be patient with me and mindful that I am one human behind the FMC logo – so it may take a little bit for me to get back with you and process your order.
- What are your dream candles themed around? For example: do you want them to be based on characters, story locations, abstract concepts in your book, or something else? Feel free to add a description if it’s something more abstract or unique.
- Please describe your candle theme(s)!
- Do you already have an idea of what you’d like the scents to be (e.g. if you have character scents already baked into your story)? Or would you like to collaborate on the scents? If you want to collaborate, get creative and use your writer magic to describe it to me like you would in the story!
- What size would you like? We offer either 2 oz or 4 oz glass vessels with customizable labels.
- How many would you like?
- Is there a deadline you need to meet, or is your timeline more flexible? Please note that my typical turnaround time is 3-4 weeks. If you need your candles on a rushed timeline, an extra charge will be incurred. However, I reserve the right to decline rushed timelines if it’s something that I cannot meet due to needing special order jars or oils.
- Do you have an idea of what you’d like on your labels? If you have commissioned art of characters or anything else that you’d like to use, please let me know.
- Are there any other last details you would like to include? Feel free to also include any additional questions if you think of anything we haven’t already covered!
